The holidays can be the hardest time of year for those who grew up in the foster care system or aged out without a family to go home to. Too often, these young adults — and even older adults who’ve carried those same childhood scars — spend Christmas alone, overlooked, and forgotten.
That’s why Angel In Me Incorporated created The Christmas Kickback — a warm, joy-filled celebration for anyone who has encountered the foster care system in any capacity. Whether you were in care, adopted, in kinship placement, or connected through advocacy — this day is for you.
